Boy oh Boy....hot and humid in KC today. Did a C55 AMG Mercedes (at least I think that was the model number...one of the prettier cars I've seen).
Got an early start on this car because I had a preview of it a week before and knew it was going to be dirty.
First up...those nasty wheels: Used a bottle of Meguiar's Hot Rims and soapy water to neutralize the acid...man, there was a ton of brake dust on those wheels.
Before
After
I wanted to try the Menzerna IP and the 106FF. The IP was some kind of dust producer, so I added some 106 to the pad to lessen the dust.
Light swirling everywhere on this car
After the combo
Next up was my favorite one stepper XMT 360...this stuff works as advertised!
Shameless plug for the AutoGeek crowd: Wash bucket and my products in the freebie mini bottles
Finally the interior (which I actually did first because of the heat). I used a Boar's Hair brush + APC and dishwash liquid diluted in a spray bottle. I also have a new portable vacuum that is wonderful! Ridgid makes a small 5 gallon portable vac and all attachments and cords store in the unit. It looks like a small portable generator, but is super light, super handy.
The owner is very happy with the results and I'm happy for a well-paid job!
