Very nice results,, could a less abrasive pad then the wool acrilic have been used for the 1st step or was the wool acrilic the least aggressive for the task?

No, each section of paint required at least 2-3 separate (wool) applications to remove the remaining RIDS. Thank you tempter927 for your question and comments!
