what pads are you using? Mercedes has very hard paint, not sure about the 1999 models, but the newer ones do, so you'll need something aggressive if you have deeper scratches. If you aren't worried about it, the 205 will get the swirls and hazing out, it all depends what you have and what you want.
Depending on the pad, 105 will get the scratches out, follow it with 205 and a finer pad or even a polishing pad.
I did a 2003 Mercedes CLK 320 the foam pad with M105 barely made a dent. I had to use Surbuf pad with M105
You gonna need some micro fiber pads on that Benz.. Optimum cutting pads will do.
maybe i should work it longer of bump the speed up to 6 for correction so when i put force on the pad it won't stop rotating.
