look at the smaller water droplets surrounding the the drop....as after a quick detailing session....wax make the surface harden

look at the near by car..weel not to bad from this distant

but closer look
he is not so lucky
P1060575.JPG

why? the surface is lack of any tension to beads up the water & the drop became flat & splattered on the unwax (wax worn out surface)

look closely how this water behave on different surface....

P1060577.JPG

look at the beading.....smaller droplets created when the drop of rain fell upon tensioned surface - protect by wax

Nice job KC.

btw - you can put the Opti-Seal on last. That is what I'm now doing with several of my clients vehicles. To me, it works better that way. They way you did it, and many others do, if you do the Opti-Seal 1st followed by a carnuba wax, it will be a little more corse. The Opti-Seal will go through the wax and land on the paint to protect it. That is what Optimum designed it for.

Just my $.02 :xyxthumbs:

Oh yeah. The old E Class looks nice and sharp!! :dblthumb2:
