Electric leaf blowers work great and are easily found for $50 at Lowe's...
spend the extra money and miss out on a meal or two out the house, its worth every single penny !
Irregardless...Another consideration:I would LOVE a metro, but the price is steep.
^^^What is the true-price of quality?^^^ :dunno:

Excellent point Bob! A 20 Amp circuit is required. It should also have a GFI. A 12 GA extension cord is as small as I would go. My 12 Ga started to show signs of insulation overheating , i.e.,shrinking around the conductors so I bought a 10 ga and have not seen any signs of damage.Irregardless...Another consideration:
Whenever contemplating owning this unit: A person should make sure the circuit,
from which it is to be operated, is correctly: "sized".

I've been considering the sidekick so I don't have to lug around a giant (empty) shop vac. I'd love to have a blow/vac setup but I can't seem to figure out which is the correct option for a hand held vac and blower.
The metro website shows this one:
Metro Vac N Blo 500 Watt Hi Performance Hand Vac/Blower
but the name doesn't correspond to anything on the AG website.
