MF leaving fibers on glass

I know breaking cardinal rules. I have a super duty that is a DD. I run it through an automatic wash. Once complete, I use provided towels and air compressor to wipe down. The supplied MF towels are leaving behind fibers on the outer glass. Is there a coating that I can apply to all of the glass to prevent the fibers from sticking?

I'd bring your own glass towels.

Getting ready to give it a try. The truck is new and the towels don’t glide over the glass inside or out even when using my own quality MF towels. Wondered if a coating or sealant might help. Washing through automatic will be my go to for the vehicle.

claying the outside of the glass could be something to consider as well. is it rough if you do the baggie test?

The photos show the amount of fibers being left behind. For this cleaning I used Invisible Glass with Adam’s glass cleaning towels. The truck is new and was built right before I bought it. Makes me wonder if I need to clay the exterior glass. The interior glass isn’t slick either. Towels like to drag regardless of the brand of glass towels I use.

^^^^^ THIS ^^^^^

People don't realize how gritty and grabby glass can be even when it LOOKS clean

Use a baggie and see if it FEELS clean before you condemn the towels

If it doesn't feel clean then clay it before you do anything else, as MisterSnoop suggested

It's could be because the glass in new, i know it sounds weird but glass like the windshield almost need a break in period.

I would suggest a glass polish and maybe whaffe weave microfibre cloths, I'm having this same issue because my windshield was replaced before I bought the car.

EDIT: Maybe some residue left from the chemical at the drive through wash.
