MF Towel maintenance...

I just finished going through about 25-30 MF towels with a toothpick! Yup, held 'em up in this bright, brilliant FL sun and inspected every dang square centimeter and picked out anything and everything imbedded within. It feels good to reach in, grab a clean towel and know it's debris free.

Unlike AG Garage where i can grab some brand new towels and go to town, i have some that are years old and still fine. Anyone here remember Wayne's Towels? I actually went through a couple of those this morning and they're probably 8-10 years old! Yup, sat down with my morning coffee and cigar and had a ball.

Mike is always preaching to work "clean" and having comfort in grabbing a towel and wiping off your LSP is a nice feeling. I still inspect it before use but won't expect to find anything on this batch.

Personally I would just buy new towels. I love that new towel feel. Just got a few of the 600 GSM towels (very similar to the Chinchilla towel on AG). They are sooo soft and fluffy.

Yes, there is nothing as good as the feel of a brand spanking new towel. I have so many that it's still hard for me to break down and buy new towels especially when they are still performing so well. I also like keeping my expense side of the business as low as i can.
