How safe is it to dry mf towels in the dryer on the delicate cycle

I have not had a problem with mine doing it on delicate, if you have an air tumble dry, that also works well with smaller loads, I usually wash 25 at a time and need the little extra help of the lower heat.

As I'm typing this, I have a load in the dryer on low heat. Will dry in about 20 mins.

I use dryer balls too .... keeps the static in check !@

Read it on one of the forums. Said to spray them to help reduce the dust and pollen that are attracted to the cars surface like a magnet. I was under the impression that the fibers, not static, were responsible for the MF's cleaning ability....All that static just transfers to the painted surfaces making it even more of a dust pollen magnet. Have I been mis-lead??

For polish and wax removal the static will help. When all is done, you can use a QD to eliminate the static. Or if you wanted to designate a towel to spray with static guard. You could do a wipedown with that after you are done polishing and waxing.

my worry is with a product like Staticgard you will transfer it to paint as its now in the towel. I use the dryer balls to reduce (not remove) static and store in a clean environment for next use.

this is good info I am getting from you guy thanks again:D

I just got some new Cobra Gold Plush Microfiber towels, they have a slight static charge to them I have noticed.

But on another slightly related note, I haven't washed these yet, I have some Pinnacle Micro Rejuvenator which I plan on using to wash them, but I was wondering if I should wash the towels before first use or are they fine to use straight away?

Thanks,
Matt.
