I need to get some more MF wash but I'm not impressed with Wolfgang. Occasionally when wiping certain areas I'll rub against rubber trim and my MF's end up with black areas on them. Wolfgang gets most of it out but not all. Any suggestions? What product achieves really good results for you guys?

I'm probably splitting from the herd here, but I've never used any "special" microfiber detergent. I use a "free and clear" HE detergent with no dyes, perfumes, etc, and if a towel is particularly soiled, like hitting trim or a ridge of dirt, I spray it will APC like Simple Green before throwing it in the wash. It works great, just my .02.

Any time I have a really dirty towel (think door jambs, wheels, etc), I soak it in a solution of DP Polishing Pad Rejuvenator before tossing it into the washing machine. DP Polishing Pad Rejuvenator is a citrus-based degreaser that's stronger than microfiber detergents.

Keep in mind that stains on microfiber towels caused by exterior protectants/sealants are not easily removed no matter what kind of microfiber wash that you use. That's what I'm guessing is rubbing off onto the towel when you accidentally touch the trim with it. Either that, or the trim is very dirty and is dire need of being cleaned. What's important is that the chemical itself is removed from the towel; stains are just an eyesore.

I use All free and clear. And soak the bad ones in apc.

I'm having great results with Pinnacle Micro Rejuvenator Don’t drown your microfibers, clean and restore them with Pinnacle Micro Rejuvenator! .

Every few washes I set my washer to "Sanitary" and it uses "extra hot" water and longer cycle time. Micros come out looking very close to new. Only problem is if my wife wants to do laundry and she sees the timer on the washer and it says 1:17.......I try to do them when shes done:dblthumb2:

the blackfire mf detergent has worked well for me...

I use 3d Towel Kleen, works great and much cheaper than the other brands.

I've been using Charlie's Soap. I've really liked it so far, but to try something new I ordered 3D Towel Kleen.
Charlie's Soap has been great though.
