Michelin All Season tire officially rated for winter use

I just asked the wheel re finishers to flip my (directional) front S-Drives to help even them out. Getting new rears.

That's funny...old school. did he tell you it would make the tires separate? Full X or modified X is best. I even rotat my staggered sizes side to side to help keep from getting the choppy wear on the outside edges. Also the RR wears a little faster.

It was a couple of years ago, but IIRC he didn't say anything about separation, only that by reversing the rotation I might get vibration, etc. I'll PM you if I can clear out some room.

No question you made the correct choice. When i bought my '11 Stang(used) it did not have the stocks, so i can't comment personally on the pzeros but from what I read, they arent the best.

Previous tires I've used on my 97 stang include Eagle 1 and Michelin AS(older version). The Pilots are clearly better. The grip around corners is noticeably better. I do not fishtail in rain anymore and it handles snow very well. I use to have to "baby" the throttle during winter, thats no longer the case. It felt like a completely different car when I put them on. I don't recall what I paid TireRack for them, but I think it was just a bit more than you did. What size did you get?

I'm positive you will love them!

:dblthumb2: Thanks for the feedback!! I have a 2013 Mustang GT w the Track Pack and I have the Brembo Brakes too. The size that I got (stock) 255/40-19's Super Sports Summer Tires for the car. From what I can tell from the short period of time; I know I made the right choice. ALL the tireshop guys ranted and raved about the tires. Only the best for my woman!!

Again, thanks for the feedback!
