microfiber cleaner

I, personally, clean all my Mf's by hand(mostly b/c I don't have a washer/drier at my apartment or work). I use half a scoop of DP pad cleaner in a 1 Gal. Pickle jar filled with hot water. Let it sit for 15 minutes then ring them out on the way out of the jar. Then spray them with the hose and they are usually spotless. If not I sic the pad brush on them to teach them the error of their ways.

Those towels are burnt toast and if mine, would be relegated to oil, tire wipe down or grease rag status. I tried the Pinnacle MF Rejuvenator on a white polishing pad and a wax applicator today and got excellent results. They were as good as new when they came out of their hot water soak and are air drying right now. Some things in life, are sacrificial. No lifetime warranty or guarantee on MF's.
 
theyre clean, just stained they work for what i do with. just thought it would take stains out...
 
My wife admitted that she uses Spray/Wash in the aerosol can for my towels with stains, and then the dedicated microfiber care soap.
 
While I do use Micro Restore at this time, I really had no problem when I used whatever laundry soap my wife was using at that time.
I use hot water, regular cycle, 2nd rinse with vinegar added. The vinegar is supposed to help remove any soap residue left in the towels.
I have MF towels that are at least 4 years old that aren't as bad as the ones shown, but....... None of mine have ever looked that bad before washing. Even using them with Poorboy's Spray & Wipe doesn't leave them that dirty.
Tires, wheels, wheel wells, under the hood or door jambs might, but I use old cotton terry towels for those areas.
 
so I've found out I need to get some cheaper towels to do a few things with but what qding?? I've been using jrs for it but leaves em dingy. My car isn't too dirty for qd it's just dust and pollen and it is garage kept. I do it everyday or every other and I use wash if it's mud or worse than just dust and pollen. Surely someone else has dirty towels :) just wanna make sure I'm not doing something crazy wrong now since my pics shocked a few ppl. The stains in my guzzler are from a stupid moment when it had rained and I used it to dry off my car with some qd I just thought that it would come clean.
 
I had some MF that were stained like yours.

I soaked them in a 5 gal bucket with DP Pad rejuvenator and hot water. I let them soak overnight then put them into the washer still wet. I then use DP Microfiber cleaner on a regular was cycle and use white vinegar for the rinse cycle. Most all of the stains come out.

This is what has worked for me.
 
Wow those poor cobras! I just go to Sams and buy in bulk for my dirty jobes like the jambs, wheels, and engine bay.
 
IMO, stains are harmless. I wash according to label and put them to use.

Are some of you *detailing* your detailing towels? :)
 
I just cleaned my new car for the first time and used the Cobra waffle microfiber cloths to dry my car and they are stained also. I washed them with "no" detergent on warm/cold normal cycle and layed them out to dry. Should I have used a detergent? I was trying to be careful with them. :D

You can use detergent, but make sure there are no softners in it(like tide free or micro-restore). I would dry them on low heat. When they air or hang dry, they tend to stiffen up.
 
I used DP microfiber cleaner for the first time yesterday and the results where awesome. Or do like Loudog suggests and you will be fine.
