Not sure how much you need of your other stuff, but this I used two oz and think I used too much. I will try 1.5 oz next wash.

How many towels did you wash?

What makes you think you used too much? Lots of suds during the wash cycle?

More suds than a wash with free and clear. One thick towel has a feeling of maybe slick almost silky. They were washed and rinsed, then spun, then rinsed and spun again.

Sounds like your towels weren’t dirty enough or you washed too few.

If your towels aren’t really dirty/soiled use 2oz. for 20 towels/items.

If all your towels in the load are soiled i.e. like this:

Then it’s 2oz. per 10 towels/items.

I’ve used too much before too and I know the feeling. You’ll get used to it and find the sweet spot. When you find it they’ll be almost no suds at the tail end of the wash cycle.
