Ok, maybe you need blue balls or a feminine touch...fancy washer/dryer doesn't hurt either...

See if you can get them in PINK!

Thank you for the blue balls idea killr! Also, does the that microfiber detergent from Pinnacle make them fluffy and plush again?

Pardon my dumbness, but why is hi heat not good for mf towels?

microfiber specific cleaners like Pinnacles and Microrestore are great because they take the guesswork out of cleaning these towels. No need to add vinegar and other issues. As for the high heat, I have heard it can damage the polymide strands and make them scratchier like polyester is typically. Never tried, as air drying works wonders.

The old school solution my momma taught me was to put in a couple of tennis balls or an old sneaker.

Eww An Old Sneaker!!!! Who Wants There Microfiber Towels Smelling Like Fungus And Dirty Sweat Socks!!

Ummm, maybe he washes his feet? lol
Couldn't help myself- sorry! hee hee
I agree tho. Doesn't sound good. If it was my son's sneaker, well, I don't think I could bear to touch them EVER again!!! :o

What is the best way to clean MF towels and guzzler drying towels? How often? I just waxed my car with both a glaze and a wax, buffed with two mf towels - they don't seem too dirty. any advice is appreciated.
Thanks.

Most like to use a specific MF detergent such as Micro Restore or Pinnacle's MF rejuvenator. If you don't have this, regular detergent is fine, but use no fabric softener.
Wash with warm water and dry with either no heat or very low heat. Supposedly there has been good results with using these blue balls as well in the dryer.

You might want to wash them separtely because I've been hearing a lot of new MF's like to bleed a lot into each other.

I've been having problems with my mf after washing and drying, after just one wash with microrestore on hot/cold setting and air tumble in the dryer, it seems that my mf seam to almost repel wter. Lets put it this way I took a brand new guzzler out the bag and took a a guzzler that was washed only once, set them side by side, poured water on each and this is what happened, the new soaked up the water immediatly, the other just beaded the water and it rolled off, now it will absorb once the ww has a been lightly saturated, what the @#$$%, I have been having this problem forever, does anyone have clue on whats going on. This happens even if I hang dry them. Should I not use the hot/cold setting hen washing, I do rinse them twice and follow the micro restore directions, I'm at a loss, help.

I've had that happen witha few micros and still don't know why, all my others are fine, same washing techniques etc. But I have a couple that just won't absorb water and bead it off, I've even sat them in buckets of degreaser/apc etc thinking some product is in it but no left over qd'er/wax/glaze etc is going to hold up to that. If their damp they work better but not as good as my others for some reason?

Looks like im going to have to get some blue balls, never thought i would be wanting to get some haha

BLUEBALLS ALL THE WAY!!!DID I JUST SAY THAT:eek:

Well at least im not alone with this, don't get me wrong my mf still work great, but drying and qd takes a little longer due to the lack of absorbtion, i ofgten wonder if its something in our water, I use well water and its pretty soft, plus micro restore does have water softners in it also, but soft water is better than hard. I'll have to keep trying different things.

That's very strange... if even degreasers didn't do anything

You probably did it as one of your first things, but did you try vinegar?

If you MF have lost absorbtion try boiling them.
