I just got a new order from Rag Company of the eagle and the spectrum 420 towels. I love using the eagle towels for a WW. The spectrum towels are giving me a lot of issues with linting. I did the intital wash of the towels. They worked fine the first time, but after only using them 2-3 times they are already linting all over the car and windows after wiping off wax. I'm washing all MF together in the washing machine with normal detergent and drying on delicate setting. Any suggestions to fix this linting problem?

I use Micro-Restore on all my towels, and have had the very same towels you listed for well over a year with no linting issues here.

Earlier today I made a post in another thread on this exact subject. My problem, nearly exactly as you describe yours, was with Meguiar's Supreme Shine towels. I'm relegated them to wheel and tire use only and if they piss me off there I'll downgrade them even further, like maybe wiping the dipstick when checking oil level.

Do you think using this after washing with regular detergent will solve the problem, or is it too late already

I have Cobra Gold and specifically use MF detergent and have the same issue with some of my MF. As soon as I feel the MF I can tell if it's going to lint or not.

It's plausible that when they were dried the heat was too high. MF is polyester blend and the man made fibers can burn easily.

As soon as I wipe with a towel and I see lint, I throw it in the bin and grab a new another one. Even pre-treating the towel with QD or NR wash spray doesn't help.

I've been using normal wash setting with delicate dry setting. I heard great things about these towels and just find it strange that they are linting so quick. I don't have the space to hang dry all of my MF. I contacted them about the issue and am sending in photos. They seem to have great customer service.

I haven't had an issue with linting with towels from TRC.

I agree...Use

No problems. Is it lint picked up from your washer/dryer that is causing the problem...
