I did a search but couldnt find what I needed, soooooo

how do you wash your microfiber towels

washing machine ( with standard clothes detergent )

hand wash in bucket ( with clothes detergent ) or general soap

any help would be appreciated, I dont want to mess up my towels

thanks

Washing machine, All Free & Clear detergent, run until water is basically clear (sometimes 2-3 wash cycles if doing engine towels or other nasties) before moving on to plain water rinse w a couple cups of vinegar for softness.

I've tried dedicated MF cleaners, don't see much difference, but YMMV

I do this minus the vinegar... Does the vinegar really help? I have about 250 mf towels that get washed about twice a week...
How much vinegar do you use per load?

I like the DP MF cleaner and I use a cup of white vinegar in the rinse to keep towels soft yet absorbent.

I use either Tide Free or All Free. I usually use a 1/4 cup of vinegar a load in the rinse cycle. I don't do this every wash though.

Charlie's Soap in washer, no vinegar, machine dry. Get 'em dirty and do it again. They're just as clean and soft as when I used the high dollar specialty microfiber cleaner.

And by all means NO fabric softener or dryer sheets.

thanks for all the help,

I didnt want to ruin these expensive towels

Micro-restore here.

If there are some stubborn ones they just get cycled into another load. If any aren't doing what's intended (like glass towel smearing) they get one wash alone.
