Might be going all optimum...input requested

I'm also an optimum fan but I feel I didn't feel 'WOW' by some of the optimum products. Here's my feedback if it can help you in any way.

- Opti-bond: goes on great but does not last at all, can be gone in less than a week. I used it straight
- OCW: very easy to use, sometimes I get streaks and sometimes I don't. Hit or miss for me.
- Optimum car soap: a lot of suds, maybe way too much. Takes extra effort to rinse compared to other car soaps (very minor complain here).
- Hypercompound: not as much cut as other compounds and the spray head keeps on clogging. Does finishes with very little haze left behind.
- Optimum Instant Detailer & Gloss Enhancer Concentrate: Could be user effort but I have the say the most useless product. Diluted at different ratios with distilled water and it really didn't do much for me.

Now the products I love and continue using:
- ONR: Been using it for over 6 years and into my second gallon
- OPC: best all purpose cleaner ever
- Opti-coat 2.0: I wish they continued this, I really loved this coating
- Opti-gloss coat: I have 3 boxes of this and it was a real breeze to use
- Optimum Metal Polish: very good, also a performer.

all snake oil. there is no such thing as "paint sealant", or any other silly "super cross-polymer linking molecular razzamatazz bullshit coating". The only thing that actually works is a good car wax, either natural(carnuba), or the newer synthetic waxes, like Maguires ultimate. Throw all that silly nonsense away.

I wonder what "newer synthetic waxes" are made of?

Thanks for straightening us out. /forum
