Mike and Nick's Excellent Flex Adventure! - Going to Germany!

Well were through security and at our gate. I got the full pat down and X-ray as normal.

I packed two Swirl Finder Lights in my carry on bag and to my surprise they passed through without the usual interrogation as to what they are? :props:

Time for a bite to eat while we can.

:xyxthumbs:

Have fun! Eat a brat or 20...they're pretty tasty. And a full review of every brew you try :D

Nick, as a dual citizen of Germany/U.S., I can assure you the ladies will be very impressed if you say this to them:

Ich bin in Ihrem Spaltung verloren!

Have a safe flight guys...let us know when you land safely.

Congrats to both of you, Stuttgart is a very nice city. That is where my mother is from. Many relatives there, Aunts and Uncles. Octoberfest is just hard to discribe, best party you will ever go to.

They must have landed safely around 4am our time, got a call from them and they are doing well, should see some photos today.

that's great news. i hope they can post pictures from the flex facility.

Arrived safely, actually the plane flight was incredibly smooth and comfortable. Next we took the high speed train to Stuttgart to the Marriott Hotel and then off to Flex for our first meeting with primarily engineers for Flex to discuss power tools. We had a great discussion and were able to meet Dirk, the man behind the Flex PE14

We're taking off to dinner in a few minutes with I'm guessing anywhere from 20 to 30 people from Flex.

During our meeting today I asked if I could take pictures with my trusty, dusty and polish splattered Canon Rebel and to my complete surprise they said yes!

I'm talking taking pictures inside the plant of the manufacturing process!

I'm confident we're going to see some really hi-tech manufacturing processes.

I'll get back on tonight as I have a few pictures after today and I'll get them posted.

So far it's been an absolute BLAST!

Haven't been to sleep since 5:30am Wednesday morning so looking forward to recharging our batteries tonight...

I'll be adding photos to my facebook page too....

Trinken Sie viel Bier und haben Sie eine großartige Zeit.

Jealousy doesn't describe it Mike. Have a great time and the more pictures the better.

travel safe guys ... and have lots of fun, sleeping is for the way home !

Mike, the jealousy I feel creeping in is only outweighed by the fact I'm VERY happy for you. :Picture::Picture::Picture: Please

You know how much I love my flex machines right?
