Mike Phillips and Yancy part of 3D Car Care

Why do you think CanCoat wouldn't work with 3D Speed?

Probably because 3D Speed lays down a polymer/montan blend behind.

Cancoat needs a bare finish to properly bond to according to the literature.

I'm my experience, cleaner waxes are horrible ways to prep for a coating.

Regardless, that car you did turned out killer.

You should be using a prep wipe anyway so what does it matter if it is CanCoat or a ceramic or a sealant. Not sure I see the correlation there.

Because most paint preps aren't going to remove the sealant/montan wax in Speed. You would need something stronger.

I'm assuming there's going to be new products from 3D coming in 2022

This is exciting news to me. I'm already a 3D fan and now looking forward to more info. For example...what exactly is an "adaptive abrasive technology?".

I hear ya! I fell in love with 3D when ONE came out. Their polishes are always something I will have on hand.

Like I always said, 3D " Makes their OWN Products"

And only they know how many products they blend and co pack of other companies LOL.

That's a manufacturing facility not just warehouse LOL.

Like Mike says at the end of the video, it's great to work for the maker, not the faker. LOL.

Wow! I wish Mike & Yancy the best of luck on their new venture with 3D Car Care.

Mike has suggested in the past that he tops some aoi's with polymer net shield.
I have used that technique to great affect.
Isn't can coat very similar?

No, unless you are using it to top a ceramic coating.

An exception might be something like Dr. Beasley’s NSP Z1 which is essentially an AIO coating. I would not use Can Coat to top an AIO that uses some type of polymer sealant as the protection as it will not bond properly. If you did it will the Can Coat fall off? No! But you would not be getting the full benefit of the product.
