There are 35 total available spots. However, I've already reserved my spot as I'm sure others have also. I don't know how many are left so if you're interested in going, I'd sign up ASAP!

My son lives in Indy but will be in FL for the first 2 IRL races.
I will be in FL also.

I could save some money on a room but he kills me on the dinners :D

Damn.
Mike's been there forever! Super nice guy. I've actually heard rumors that he was leaving but then they died down.

Wonder where he will go..........................?

Here's what he said on another forum (I won't say what forum, but I'm sure you can figure it out).

Here's the skinny...
As of today I have resigned from my employment with Meguiar's Inc. I will be staying on until Friday to help the people that will be taking my place learn to take over the Admin functions I currently perform. Beginning Friday afternoon I will be doing the same job I have always performed for Meguiar's, that is answering how-to questions, writing articles and teaching classes only I will be doing these things on my own forum and at my own show approximately 14 miles North of Meguiar's Irvine location.
I have often times in my life in posts on various forums stated that I am in this for the long run... this is a true statement.
I'll post a more organized and formal post before the end of day on Friday.

mike left because barry was holding him back. berry should have sat down with him and worked things out. oh well barry's loss mikes gain.

Mike is a fantastic guy! He's the one who taught me all most of the things I know. He does some excellent work!!

He hosted a detailing "fest" at Tampa Honda, here in Tampa last year, and I was able to attend. The class lasted about 8 hours, and the best money I've ever spent.

Ditto!! See pics above (that's not all of them). Included: breakfast, coffee, soda, pizza! This class is worth hundreds of dollars, if not thousands.

I was expecting it to cost much more. $70 alone is a great price for a two-day class but throw in the fact that $30 of that is a credit to purchase products, it's an unbelievable deal. I've reserved my spot and am really looking forward to it!

I paid $45. This was the second class OUTSIDE of Cali, and they were still testing things. It's worth $300-$500 easy. Mike is a great teacher and fun to work with.

I hope he comes to New England too! He was going to come last summer, but the class was later canceled. After the cancellation, Mike emailed me and expressed that he was not quite happy with his situation at Meguiar's. He was unhappy about Barry limiting his "road shows" and his ability to get out and meet people. Plus, he wasn't too happy about being forced to resign from Show Car Garage. He asked me not to say anything to anyone at the time. So, I have not passed it on until now.
