Mini Cooper R paint correction, Opti-Guard protection: Rasky's Auto Detailing

How hard did you find the clear to be? I did a 2012 Cooper S today and the black roof seemed to be really soft. D300 left lots and marring, and Ultimate Polish finished it out nicely.

I found it to be middle of the road to hard clear, at least on the red....can't recall if the black on the roof was the same or not.

thanks, interesting. I worked on a off white with black top. the customer wanted just the top corrected and and I polished the rest of the paint. The black top seemed so soft, even my fresh Micro's would marr it after I wiped the residue off and IPA'd it.

Marring doesn't always mean soft though. I base hardness on how aggressive I have to get in order to remove the defects based on their severity.

This silver one was on the harder side too...
