Just a quick mini detail

Its 2006 RAV4, upon inspections, the clearoat on the hood/roof was trashed and oxidated. Rest of the paint was okay with minor water spots. Its has never been wax according to the owner. Minimal swirls with just some minor RIDS. Also very hazy.

Its a daily driver so its not a 95-100% defect removal. Just some improvement on the gloss.

Wash:
Meguiars microfiber mitt
OTC micro chennel mitt
CG Citrus wash and gloss shampoo with Dawn
Raceglaze brush on emblems and tight areas and gas covers

Decontaminate:
Meguiars Clay bar
ONR as lube

Wheels:
Mothers wheel cleaner
Variety of brushes
Citrus degreaser for tires and wheel wells
Tires dressed with PERL 1:1

Polish:
Makita 9227 3m backing plate
LC orange flat pads
Euroshine 6" green flat pad
Flex 3401
Menz PF2500
Meguiars M105 some areas

LSP:
Menz Powerlock
Optimum Car wax as second coat

Total time: 6.5 hours

Quick before shots:

50/50 of hood after 4 passes of m105 on orange LC pad via Makita, top is before and bottom is corrected

The hood was trashed so best I could tell the owner was i can only improve the gloss and not 90% improvement. It needed a repaint so does the roof.

Results after coat of Powerlock and OCW

Thanks for looking

Thats a mini detail?? If it took over 6 hours then I would consider that a bit more detailed and I sure hope that you charged accordingly.

Yes it's kinda like a mini detail because I didnt really clean the interior and engine, just mostly exterior, I charged her only $80(shes a friend btw) because I love detailing so much that I do it for fun and it's my fav hobby:xyxthumbs:

I consider a regular full detail to be more than 24hrs so 6hrs or less I consider it to be mini but that's just me

Man, that is some speed! No way I could do it in that amount of time. Awesome job :)
