PICS BELOW

Ok decided to Clean the wheels and tires up yesterday and take a few pics and Note my opinions on these products.

Products used were.

TufShine Tire appearance kit. ( previously cleaned the tires so that is not included in pics however I will say that the Tufshine Tire cleaner and brush did an impressive job)

Wash- Chemical Guys Honeydew foam

Wheels- Sonax Full effect Wheel Cleaner

Microfiber Mit - dedicated to wheels

Daytona Speed brush Jr

2 bucket Method w/ Grit Guards however only 1 bucket is pictured since we All know what a rinse bucket w/ water looks like.

Tufshine Tire gel

1. First sprayed the Sonax Wheel cleaner on the wheels and let sit for aprox 4 min.
2. Then Used the Daytona Jr to agitate wheels
3. Next came a quick wash w/ CG honeydew foam.. (while I prefer this in my foam gun it still does a good job in the bucket) and I use warm water and it really bring out the scent and this stuff smells good.
4. Then proceeded to rinse the wheels and tires and dry.
5. After the tires were dry I coated them w/ the Tufshine Tire gel. 2 coats.
A little truly goes a long way and this thin liquid comes out pretty quick so apply to the tire applicator lightly

* Note the tire shine gel does not sling and looks clean and has a light shine without looking greasy

I let the tires take in the gel for about 45 min before drying the car.

Overall I think everything came out pretty good.

I still think there are better alternatives to the Sonax wheel cleaner for a better price. But it does the Job and seems to work far better when the wheels are pretty dirty.

I then finished my rims off w/ a light coat of Menzerna Powerlock ( not pictured ) overall I'd say the outcome came out pretty good and I can easily recommend all of the above products while still considering an alternative to the wheel cleaner.

The Datyona Jr worked good but I will def be using this as a back up and will be purchasing the full size as well.

On to the pics.

Thanks man.

Just ordered a lug nut brush.

Looking forward to doing some much better reviews after some work this weekend and doing more in depth reviews as well :buffing:

sweet review :xyxthumbs:
that tire gel provided a great look
you already know my thoughts on sonax lol

Nice review. I really like Sonax wheel cleaner. I also need to get a lug nut brush.

Scotchguard sponges work just fine for lugnuts. They cost about $3 for ten at Costco.

Nice review. Dig the white two-tone Outback. Most I see are green and champagne.

I still have a ton of Hyper Dressing, but I'm going to give Tuff Shine a try on the next set of tires.

I have both the paint brush style and lug specific type. IMO, the paint brush wins due to the fact that you could go from spoke-to-calipers-to-lugs without having to grab for another tool.
