Yes, that combo works great. I used that combo on my car for a long time. My neighbor laughed because the water wouldn't even stay on my car when washing it. Any carnuba will lengthen the duration of a sealant.
 
You can also get their sealant spray. It is great with DGPS and Fuzion.

Oh, and I did not run the pad over the black moldings. The edge of the pad may have "grazed" a few times, but not the whole pad LOL!
 
Poli-Seal does the same thing to my pads. I can use a paint cleaner on the paint before using Poli-Seal and it still turns the paint grey.

I think it is just the cleaner turning the pad grey.
 
It was dirt, trust me. I did my Explorer, there was barely anything on the pad. Tried on my MG and Chevelle, SS paints, they had color transfer. One pass on my neighbors towncars hood that was in BAD shape, pad was BLACK!!!
