I just received my SnowMover Personal Snowplow.

The unit seemed quite sturdy if not a little heavy. When the handle is extended it retains its rigidity. It would probably be quite effective at removing deep snow from your vehicle without getting too close or having to walk around.

Before using on it my car I examined the rubber bristles and they seemed very stiff for rubbing against paint. I did a CD test and there were scratches everywhere.

For anyone considering purchasing this item, you should keep the above in mind.

Good to know! I was planning on picking one up, but I think i'll just stick to my current method of getting as much off as I can without touching the paint! lol

Good review. I think I'm just going wipe off as much as I can with a glove and not touch the paint to be safe.

That's why I like my method of using a wide Meg's versa-angle body brush -- no scratches.

This isn't my video, FYI:

well wouldn't the snow help to lubricate the surface unlike doing it dry on a cd?

If your paint is dirty from sand and salt the snow will just push that around. I do my best to never touch the paint with any type of snow brush. I'll get it as close as possible to the paint and then just leave it and let it melt or blow off.

I want to Master! I hate the cold, snow, and the no detailing!

You might be right to a certain extent but these are hard bristles. Think of the car wash soap with the most lubricity on your car. You would not want to rub this across your finish even then.
