My car is relatively new (2004 Mazda6), but due to some neglect on my part while I was at college my car took a beating. I plan on dedicating a full weekend to washing, claying, polishing, and waxing. However, while examining my paint recently I have discovered minor scratches (maybe cobweb, not sure what they look like) Anyway I don't have enough $ to invest in a PC, so I'm looking for any products I can use by hand to remove the scratches. Any suggestions?

Its extremely hard to truly remove swirls by hand. You should probably look to a polish with fillers that can hide the markings. Temporarary ... but you can always move to a PC later. Clearkote VMG is about the best hand polish I have used. If you want a true "filler" only and using a canauba wax as final protection, you could use Megs #7 (pure glaze).

F.K. Finish Kare has a glaze sealant #216 that will help hide what you have.........

Good Luck.......
