has anyone heard (tried) a product called "Miracle Coat" currently distributed by Miracle Coat Paint & Plastic Sealant???
It supposedly does a super job of restoring plastics and even claims to fill small scratches....hmmmm
Most vehicles will take less than 30 minutes to completely restore faded plastic trim, and normal drying time is approx 40 min to clean, restore, and seal the surface and provide a long-lasting protective coating, If faster drying is required for any reason, a hair dryer on low heat will dry the treatment in as little as 15 min! Hold the dryer approx 2 feet away from the treated surface and move back and forth on a specific area until it is dry to the touch.
Having been on the quest for a quality plastic treatment product, I have read reviews on black wow, but I really like WG products and the WG ETS seems like a good product to have on the shelf.
The main question here is.....if I am going to charge someone for a job that should have some long term durability, what is one of the better plastic products to have on the shelf? Is it possible to have the "average" product that does a great job but doesn't last a long time....of course with a lower price point and then to have the more expensive product which provides that long term durability. Of course, I would be just as happy to have one product that last a long time and has a great price point.

Too many great products.....so many opinions...how does one choose?

UTTG is your best friend for what you are looking for. The price is steep but a little bit goes a very very long way.

thanks. i am really considering this stuff.....it is that or WG ETS. Heck...might just get both.....wait for a good sale :)

40 minutes to dry?!?! Try some C4.
are the masses really happy with the carPro products? I decided to get some ironX as well as their sealer instead of the Optimum Opti-Seal

It seems it gets harder to choose. A few companies have such great products, why not just get their entire product line?
Well, I have been leaning towards WG ETS, but the UTTG seems like a sure thing and now, the c4 seems to be just as good.
How are we supposed to choose? What is the benefit of the c4 over the other 2 products?

GTechniq's C4 is the trim restorer of ALL trim restore products.I've applied C4 to personal/customers vehicles 9 month's ago and till this day, looks like day 1 of application.
C4 FTW (trim products) ;)

thanks IID.
It looks like there is no need to know if anyone has ever heard of or tried the miracle coat. another product looking for its place in the market and it seems there are 3 here that will do what I need.
1 UTTG
2 WG ETS
3 CP PERL

IID, do you use the product on all cars you detail? if not, how do you determine which cars you are going to use it on? I wonder if cost is a consideration to the product and how long you want it to last on the vehicle. I mean, if a person pays 20 bucks for a car wash and clean, would you use the PERL or a different product (which wont last as long or cost as much) ???

thanks IID.

I give the customer a option. If they are NOT willing to pay for the C4,I'll use UTTG.If they will pay for the C4,I'll apply it.
I explain that one will give great durability(UTTG) and will wear off with time and the other is a permanent (C4) type product.

I use uttg, but I still had to try wg. at initial application looks very similar. have not done a comparison or tested it's durability. I did note after I applied wg and it rained , I got bad streaking down the side of my truck . I wouldn't say I applied too much cause i have used uttg without any issues, but ya never know. cleaned up easily with a wash, trim still protected. my vote goes to uttg but I still have to use up the wg that I have. I really do want to try c4. where can u get this from ? and how about using one of the more permanent coatings opti 2.0 . it says can be used on trim , but does it bring the color back and what about durability ?

IID, if you don't mind me asking, what is the price difference between the two options when dealing with a client???
