Disclaimer: Everything in the post is simply my opinion based on nothing more than my unscientific observations. If my mis-spelled words and bad grammer irritates you, so what.
Softness:
- 460 Blue Korean (softest)
- 600 Green
- 360 Yellow / 530 Blue*
*360 and 530 seem like the exact same towel except the pile is slightly longer on the 530. With that said the 360 actually feels ever so slightly softer. Now I don't know if it's actually softer or because of the slightly longer pile, my hand is more easily able to distinguish the fibers which makes it feel not as soft as the 360? I've read that yellow dye is the softest of the dyes so maybe the blue is in fact not as soft. Either way the difference is negligible. Hope that made sense.
Thickness:
They actually go in order... 360,460,530 and 600. :xyxthumbs:
The 360's and 530's are short nap/long nap and the 460's and 600's have long nap on both sides.
Edges:
All edges are silk except the 600's
Note on the yellow 360's: My last 360's had a MF edge and the latest batch has a silk edge. Doesn't matter to me, just something to note. The MF itself is exactly the same from what I can tell.
Conclusion:
I can't tell you anything else until I actually put them to use. I love my previous 360's and have no reason to use anything else other than "just because". No lint after washing. No marring on mine or my customer's cars and I have a WR Blue Subaru with really soft clear. The price to performance ratio is hard to beat. They don't drag when doing rinseless/waterless. The short side is great for removing polish/wax and the long nap side is great for everything else. I might hold on to some 600's just because. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them.
Thanks everyone, I hope this isn't considered a thread jack...
