Had this customer referred to me about getting his car shined up. Was in pretty decent shape over-all, since its only a 2006 with 12k miles on it. Customer just wanted it cleaned up and looking good for when he drives it once a week or so. So I just did a two step polish on it to get the paint nice and glossy for a solid coat of wax.

Not much in the way of befores since it was already pretty clean when it got to me... Unforently no sun spot afters since the sun was already behind the house. Paint cleaned up rather nicely. Landed around 80% correction and removed all the holograms.

Process:

Wash:
Foamed via AG Foam Gun w/ CG Citrous Wash'N'Gloss
Hand Washed TBM w/ CG Microfiber Wash Mitt w/ Megs Hyper Car Wash
Rims done w/ Diablo Wheel Gel
Clayed w/ Pinn. Ultra Poly Clay

Buffed:
LC Tang. Hydro Tech Pad via GG DA Speed 6 w/ M205 *did some amazing correction on the paint with 6-7 section passes with the first three passes with KBM*
LC Gold via GG DA Speed 5 w/ Super Finish

Waxed w/ Concourse 50/50.
Windows w/ Stoners Rainx
Tires w/ Pinn. Black Onxy Wheel Gel
Exhaust w/ Adam's Metal Polish

I notice you use CG wash n gloss and I just got some a couple weeks ago and my question is do you always use that, even on a normal weekly wash? Or is it to concentrated for normal washes?

Great job on a really cool car!

Great car, but god was getting in and out to move it around a pain. I probably wasted 30 minutes of the 4 hours I worked on this thing just getting in and out and moving it around.

It can be used on normal washes, just do not concentrate it near as much. Most times I use it for after buffing washes and if I need to get rid of some wax. Most times I just use Hyper Wash.

Man that was a good one! Congrats!

It reminds me when I detailed my Smart Roadster coupe... I don't own it anymore :(
