Owner contacted me last weekend about getting his Trans Am done this week. He was wanting to get the car cleaned up before it goes into storage for a few months plus get a quick clean in the suspension/wheel wells cleaned. So just did a two step polish on it and a solid coat of wax to really seal the car up. Got up to his work today and spent the whole day working on his car. Pretty well done up Road Race car and the condition of the paint was not all that bad. But anyways....

Process:

Paint:
ONR Wash
Pinn Ultra Poly Clay w/ ONR Lube
IPA Wipe Down
SIP w/ LC Orange Pad via GG DA
IPA Wipe Down
Super Finish w/ LC Black Pad via GG DA
IPA Wipe Down
CG Concourse 50/50

Wheel Wells:
1/2 Bucket Full of Water
Meguiars APC+ 1:8 Dilution
Brush + Few Microfibers
Adams Undercarriage Spray To Cover The Wheel Wells After

Wheels:
Rims Cleaned w/ Diablo Wheel Gel
Tire Shine w/ Pinn Black Onxy Tire Gel

The TA turned out real nice. When black is polished,IMO nothing else looks better.

You now have that thing looking the way it should. Looks like he has alot of money invested in it, Im glad he invested in getting the paint to look how it should.

Yeah he had it repainted 6-8 months ago an the finish and wet sanding was done pretty well.

I love the Trans Am... A true work of art. Trans Am was the only car under $70,000 that really blew me away until I saw the Sky.

Great job on the Trans Am. I have always loved the TA since Smokey and the Bandit.
It looks like you need sun glasses to look at it in person.:dblthumb2:
 
Thanks guy, it was a dam sure interesting car to work on. Owner was real dam happy when it was done.
