Spent a good while on this one, sunday. Removed all pin stripe and chevrolet pin stripe off the tail gate. This thing came out beautifully. Just some general shots with my camera phone. Also its amazing how using 1000 watts of light can help with a detail! To think, I use to think my 500w light was good! :thatfunny:

Whole truck looked like this before!

After:

Very nice half and half shot:

Then just some nice reflection shots:

Nice reflection with the flake in the paint!

Hood!

Then my favorite shot. No flash, just using 1000 watts of light over to the side for light! :headbang:

This is also with NO wax on the truck. It got to late, and with the DEW point low, I was not able to finish. So I still need to add about 2 layers of wax to this thing to really set it off!

UPDATE With Finished Pictures! Will have better ones up later!

Looking good, that truck was hammered.

Any After shots in the sun? What process did you use for polishing that?

Looks like you could use some more lighting if you're going to work in the dark. This one kind of looks like the northern lights with lots of stars in sky.

105/ Purple Mirror Glaze Pad, 205 with W-Pad, then 3m Ultrafine with Red Pad, took about two hits per panel. This is without any wax on the panels, which I will be going back to finish on saturday.

Finished product looks great.
Good Job

LOL this is true. That was shortly before I pulled out the 1000w stand. On a side note, working late at night, outside with a low dew point is not recommended.
