Misc Pictures from 2019 Mobile Tech Expo - Cleaning pics off my phone

I haven'e really seen many pictures from MTE this year. Don't want to waste space on my iPhone so here's what I have, pretty much in the order they were taken....

These first pictures were of the hoods I removed from the local salvage yard for use in my MTE classes and other upcoming projects.

I used the blue hood, which is off a late model Volvo, not sure the year. Didn't know it was single stage until I did the first bit of buffing.

Look down in the upper right hand corner of the hood - You'll see Dennis Gage in the reflection...

And here he is photo bombing my hood shot....

One of the guys and his girlfriend from the UK that are also members of the IDA, can't remember their names but I'll get them from Jason Rose and add them later. I let them both check out the CBEAST.

What I like about working for Autogeek is letting people test out whatever tool they are interested in or all of them for that matter - I packed 3 bags of tools for the show this year.

My little corner of the AG booth for 2 days of demonstrating. It's what I do, it's fun and also a challenge. Hate to be a guy that actually can't walk the walk and try to fake it in front of people doing live demos.

Always an honor to be asked to sign one of my books....

This was also on my phone. Took this shot at the Snake Road Salvage yard when I was pulling hoods to share what cannot be fixed by buffing.

Slowly but surely the oxidized Volvo hood is coming back to life....

Dennis Gage was the Keynote Speaker this year - did an amazing job of enthralling the audience with the lessons he learned in life being an entrepreneur.

This was taken at one of my classes, for the most part standing room only for all 8 classes.

Todd Helme and myself teaching a class on jewelling with the rotary buffer. The picture of the Suburban on the screen is an example of what you get to do at any class I have control over. That's the real deal, a 1948 Chevy Suburban Streetrod that my class wetsanded, cut and buffed.

Finishing the hood out....

Done and the show is over. A couple of guys asked me to "sign" the hood and then they left with it to take back to their shop and hang on the wall. :)

That's it..... phone is cleaned off, did my part to document MTE really took place.

:)

Yes, we met last day when you were "wrapping up" polishing the hood and taking pics. Thanks for your hard work!

Thanks for the pics Mike. I found myself in the Dr. Beasley's class shot. The class with you and Todd was very entertaining, and even more informative!

Yes I remember. Thank you for stopping by our booth! :dblthumb2:

Both my classes with Todd were fun and both were packed out.

I would say the most attended and the class I received the most positive feedback about was the class on how to become the recognized detailing expert in your home town.

This class fills up every year.

And I really like sharing how was able to work on so many cool cars all my life. I always see people trying to copy me or regurgitate my info as their own and it never works because we're supposed to be ourselves, not other people. But this is truly a class no one else can copy.

:)

Must be kinda of a PITA trying out a machine with a backpack on, LOL!

Looks like it was a good time had by all!
