1.suicide: insurance/pension payments for family. The plane flew beyond radar and had its communications turned off after the "good night" by the co-pilot. Suicide voids the instance payments for pilots family.
-counter to that is there are easier ways to commit suicide.

There is only a two year clause on suicide and voiding a life policy. If the policy was over 2 years old, the family still gets paid (assuming they were beneficiary) regardless of cause.

I am from Malaysia, and while I am just still as puzzled as all of you, I do not agree to the theory of pilot suicidal or an act of extremism despite what our corrupt government tried to picture them as. No evidence no nothing, they pressure the pilot and co-pilot family members, all because the pilots happen to be opposition supporter.

They confiscated the flight simulator at his home and say it was a good piece of evidence since the flight sim system has so many runways which soon enough become a big joke. Why would not flight sim, even just a basic game has that much runways?

And now to be fair, why is everyone pointing the incident to Malaysia as in "Malaysia"? We do not wanted it to happen, no one wanted in fact. Our government does not equal to us Malaysian. And just because it happens on MAS flight, the China's chinese got so furious. Mourn as it may be, but throwing harsh words like that not only shows they are just irrational, but also indirectly like saying there has been "zero" efforts by all the international SAR team that helped, in which I appreciate very much.

And finally, not only their people on that plane.
