So I tried something today. I mixed Collinite 845 with Banana Magic from Automagic, because I have tons of it from buying a gallon. I like the Banana Wax because it is very easy to work with, leaves a great shines, but the durability is not great. So on my PCXP and soft red waxing pad I sprayed (put a trigger on the Collinite bottle) one light spray on the pad and a circle of Banana Magic. I was very happy with the results, great shine, easy on and easy off, spread super thin, used less then I would using either wax. Thought that was interesting in itself.
Has anyone else mixed to different waxes together to make a hybrid? If so any ideas as to if it is wise to do so? Does it actually boost the durability at all, or is it not really working the way I think it is?
I know many mix compound and polishes to boost the productivity of whatever they are using. Would it work the same way with waxes?
