lol word for word i do it exactly the same way.I am mobile and have been since 2005. I do rims and tires first, Then do the bugs on front of car, After that I wash the roof, hood, trunk lid and side that has shade on it first then go around and do other side. When drying I start with the side that has the sun on it and do windows first, hood, roof trunk lid and side of car with sun. Just gotta move fast.
Spray wax or quick detailer should wipe up the waterspots during drying
I've washed a black Suburban in 89 degree direct sunlight. I used ONR, worked top to bottom and worked small sections. I washed with a sponge and dried with a damp towel followed by a dry towel. This is the only way I wash in direct sunlight.
Never, ever would I polish paint in heat like that. I'd either put a canopy up or not polish the paint. Some abrasives can be used in sunlight while others can't, but nothing can be used on a surface with that high of a temperature.I understand. But how could you polish the paint in that heat?
