I'm looking at wither getting a 1500/2500 series van or equivalent comercial van or an enclosed trailer. Wondering what the best way is to be mobil .... Curently have a 2 door jimmy so no room in suv.

if you are full time Van everyday.
you can fit in buildings parking lot, is more convenient in my opinion.

Cosmin you rig is looking pretty sharp. Now that you have been in it for a while , how is the transit working out ?

is weak at climbing hills , other than that i love it.
i can fit in 6.4-6.7clearance , i fit in all the tower buildings parking lots, i can park anywhere with easy , because of it`s size.
wrap paid back in full already, i fit all the detail equipment that i use.
get`s a good mileage /gal around 20 in city and is loaded.
wish i got it long time ago , for marketing reasons first and usage second.

I would say go with a van. I like to get my truck right next to the car or camper that I am working on. That would not always be possible if I was hauling a trailer.

Cosmin. Any chance I can see the inside as I priced out a Ford transit and its a bit of a stretch but if it sets up nice I just might ... Other option is an older comercial van .

I've been in the market for a used econoline van. I'm only looking to spend about $4k on the van. Not a ton out there is decent shape. May end up attempting to trade in my HHR SS for a newer used van. The transit is steep in price for sure.

Have you tried local auctions ? I bought a used 2500 van for 1500$ 2002 with 189000 kms on it all ôte needed was a window . Sold it to a friend for his construction company and wish o had it for myself

Van! All day long.. I did the trailer thing when I first started, when I got my van I kicked myself in the ass for not getting one sooner!

I currently have my van for sale.. It's a 2000 Chevy express cargo. It has 4 brand new 6ply tires, new computer, new spider injector assembly, new A/C, has Chevy HD 2500 leaf springs under the back.. I carry a 300 gallon water tank..

Sorry, $3500 for the van, only reason I'm selling it I because I want a 15 passenger van.. Need an extra seat for more employees..

Love these vans! dual sliding doors, barn door back doors i think one of the easiest vans to get in and out of glad to see them running around the states they have been all over Europe forever...
If I were to go full time. This is the vehicle i would use as well.
Looks good Cosmin!

Could go with a smaller van to carry your supplies and what not. Dodge makes a mini van cargo van and you can pick them up used pretty cheap. Then get a small trailer for things like water and generator (check right looks website for an idea on how to set one up) gives you the option to leave it behind if you don't need it and the mini van will be better on gas then the 1500 and ups

I just purchased a 5x8 V nose enclosed trailer w/ side door and ramp door on back.

Gonna build some shelves inside.

I think It will do the trick for me.

Didn't want to purchase another vehicle as we already have 3 at the house.
