Mobile Detailers: A Few Questions

Oh yeah, my personal favorite threads start with...

" Hi, I am starting my own auto detailing business, What products and tools do I need, we start next Monday.....

Your right, too many people think its just running a soapy sponge over a car and scooping wax out of a can.

Some people piss me off.

Well, I understand where your coming from Grizzly. but I really don't mind at all helping someone out thats just getting started. I just want them to be aware of the many pit falls they will be instore for

I also hate to see someone spend an unnecessary amount of money (probally money they really don't have in the first place) I say start slow, get a feel for this business and then concentrate on expanding your services as the need presist

My freind Bob Willis once said.....If detailing was easy, everyone would be doing it...

Now, I must get back outside and get to work in this lovely 34 degree day the Lord has blessed me with.

hi this is charlie from master detailers in cape coral fl 33904 239 878 0543 .have been down here 4 yrs now and now have my own shop. pricing is hard these days. What I do is ask them what they are looking for frist off.If they just say a detail then I ask them what would be a good detail to you ?there are so many guys out there calling a wash and wax a detail. and to me its just a wash and wax thats it.to me detailing is doing what they cant do.have a low end job price and a high end price. then have ad on things to the job to go up from the low end but on the high end ones do it all with the best stuff you can get and make it sick looking .buffing clay sealer high end wax will be your ad on. I tell them if they would like to save a little to do the in side there self as this is some thing they can do lol most of them. now these days say in he last year if your not in the right price range in your area you will not get alot of the work .price means alot to most but there are ones that what the best and will pay. but the best thing you can do is GET A LIC&BE INSURED for me thats what sets me apart from the rest. and ag stuff helps .also dont go cheap with the stuff you use .The good stuff will make you better. Try any but stay with what makes you looks like a pro . to all have a good xmas from charlie at master detailers .and as always you can go frist class for a little more .

Well hi Charlie. You provided some good info here for sure. Not trying to be rude, but you should hit the 'ENTER" button on occasion. It will make your responses much easier to read. Break it up a bit you might say. I am seeing cross eyed now...lol...J/K

Thank you for your contributions :props:
