Any suggestions on a pop up canopy or other types for cover for shade? Needs to be quick and easy setup and sturdy of course.

What do you professional guys use?

I use a popup tent and have figured out how to setup by myself. It's arguably one if the best purchases a mobile detailer can buy.

A Tilly hat with a wide brim and a mobile gazebo for the cars!!

I had a 10x10 pop up I bought at Wal Mart for $50.00 or so. I left it up on my deck last summer when I was working on a home improvement project. Unfortunatly a late afternoon sotrm came through and flipped it over and bent all the aluminum legs, so I need to get another one.

Most of the time I use Poorboy's Natty Blue on my black car with no garage, but when I want to polish I throw up the pop up.

Kmart has a great deal going on for a Shelterlogic.

Is there any sort of possibility that could be put up by a single person? I poked around and from what I read by yourself many are impossible. And most of the rest seem to be so much work to get up by yourself by the time you finish you'll need a nice long break.

I asked this topic last week. I purchased this from big lots. Its a 10x16, I put it up by myself started at 10 min to put up and 5 down. Now I'm down to 6 min to put up and about the same to take down. It evens come with a carry bag.

What I don't like about the canopies is they the sun will cast their shadow off center. But I don't think there is many other viable options - not that a canopy is necessarily a viable option for a single person to put up and take down.

I try to find a shady spot under a tree and put the canopy up to keep the tree droppings off the car. If i cant, then I use one or the other. The tent is hard to put up alone so when I am working solo, I find a tree, and use that. I just make sure to blow off each panel before doing any waxing. I don't do polishing or compounding anymore unless its in my garage or at a customers garage.

How do you like that one? I have a high quality ez up which I regret. It weighs a ton and is a PITA to put up alone... I wish I had bought a super cheap one. How much would you guess that one weighs?

I have a 12x12 popup that I purchased from either HD or Lowes...was about $100. In the beginning, I needed an extra set of hands , however I can now setup the popup on my own within 3 minutes. All of my work is completed in a drive way, so here's how I setup the popup: after removing from it's carrying case, I take one ground stake and secure the popup into the ground. Then I go to the opposite side and begin to open the popup. After a certain point I will go underneath the popup and push up the center, this in turn further pushes the popup out. Finally, I secure the sides so the popup stays open, adjust to the desired hieght, and away I go. When putting the popup back together is basically everything reversed. Takes a bit of practice, but once your figure it out, it's really easy!

Thanks everyone. These are used a lot at my sons travel baseball tourneys. I think I'll have to get one.
