Looking to buy a canopy for my expansion into mobile detailing, so I was wondering if I could get help with some ideas about size? I saw one I like which was 10x16 and some others 10x20. Most importantly speed up and down is a must. Any thoughts, ideas, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I'd like to know too, I'm currently using a 10x10 ez-up and would like to upgrade to something bigger soon.

Was looking at that but it seems like it would be to small. A mid size car would hang over.

honestly i'm surprised no one has come out with a detailer specific car enclosure. 15x20, plenty of room for a vehicle, easy up and down. and two sides included so that the car can be completely blocked off from the sun even if its early or late in the day so you dont have to worry about detailing under a tent between 10am-2pm only.

EZ-Up offers numerous sizes, and also has sides. I had (just sold it not too long ago) a 10X20 I think, maybe it was a bit smaller. It was the contractor grade, so a pain to open by yourself. Thing is though, once I had it up, I could easily park a Hummer under it. I did not have the sides, but I could have gotten them. The thing looked like a circus tent when I had it up, since it had to upper post to hold the canopy part up.

I had on that was either 10x12 or 12x12. I forget, but returned it back to Dicks because it was a PIA to open up on my own and it had metal bars that ended up snapping. However it was big enough to fit a F150 under it.......
Look for one that's easy to open and that's light( usually hard plastic support bars, not metal ones.

HF works great takes about 5 mins to put up and 5 mins to tke down.. get 2 for bigger cars

Got this for big lots 10x16. Took me about 10 minutes to set up and 5 minutes to take down the first time. I'm sure the more I set it up the faster the set up and take down will go. I think it will do for now. You need it here in the deep south. 96 degrees today and a bright sun.

the one thing you need to be aware of with canopies is the wind. make sure you have some way of securing the legs (either weights or pegs). if you get a sudden gust of wind that catches hold of the canopy, the legs will do a lot of damage if they clatter into the car.
