Modded cars

Lynchburg is a nice area, I can't remember the name of the park/mountain/lodge (right next to lake) you have over there but man do they serve a killer hot chocolate. I can't wait to back back there.
Edit:Shenandoah maybe?

Heck no I wasn't joking. Bold emphasis also added. ;)

This handles like yours for under 50k =p

Bilstein shocks, MS springs, race sways coming in shortly and I'll be going coilovers in the spring.

Ceramic Brakes for when stopping is needed.

2.5" custom SS exhaust as well, makes a nice purr.

Could be Peaks of Otter?

Okay, since you're a Mazda man, I'll give you a partial yes. :props: Love the blue, btw.

alright are we talking about just msrp only of the car under 50k or just anything up to msrp + mods?

I was thinking off of the showroom floor, the way it was built. But we have to stop with the thread-jacking. :D

Yes that is it, we picked up some wine from near there as well. Peak of Otter winery, there Plumlicious wine is awesome with chocolate.
O.K back on topic.

I did a clients Cobras. The convert. is his wifes with 65k miles on it. The coupe is his track car. Dyno's at 425 with no blower or spray, all engine work. These cars had lots of scratches, paint overspray, and tons of swirls. I did a 2 stage compound and polish then a paint sealant. Cars came out better than new! :dblthumb2:

As for me this is my ride. I would have a mustang too but it wont pull an enclosed trailer with 200 gallons of water! Its dropped 2" in the rear VHT tail lights, Saleen Zip Tube intake, K&N drop in filter, Electric fan, Flowmaster side exit exhaust, Edge Power Programmer, and 4:10 rear end. Yes its 2wd and has the 5.4.

My first goal was to have a very lean looking car so I took the wing off, took the Ford crests off, and matched the wheels/windows with the paint.

Then I used this lean look to make it a sleeper and installed:
- XCalibrator II w/ custom tune
- Flowmaster mufflers
- MAC Prochamber off-road h-pipe
- 4.10 gear

Ran 12.9 @ 109 mph with these mods on slicks.

I then added:
- Sportlines suspension (2" drop)
- Steeda caster-camber plates
- 75mm Accufab throttle body
- Dynojet air-fuel sensor
- Vortech SQ-Trim supercharger @ 8 PSI
- 4" boost pipe
- Accufab plenum
- SVT fuel pump
- SCT BA-4200 MAF
- 42 lbs injectors

And voilà! The car runs 11.6 @ 121 mph in full street trim except the rear tires.

I love it. It's nice when the wife and I go crusing out to the lake to checkout the stars under the moonlight!

Lots of amazing cars in this thread! Seems as if most of you track, drag or autocross your cars - it's so hard to keep the car looking as we would like when you're out there beating on it!
Here's mine - a 2003 Jetta GLI (24v VR6 w/ 6-speed manual). It has been all over the place. It was owned by VWoA and I bought it from them. It leads an interesting life in that it's my daily driver, but it also sits at car shows and sees a lot of track time (Mid-Ohio, Daytona, Indianapolis Motor Speedway).

Man, I feel left out... I don't own a mustang... You guys have some really nice rides!

Here are my current rides:

2005 Cadillac CTS-V. Black on black (on black, with a side of black) It has Kooks headers, Corsa cat-back, K&N CAI, Wait4Me performance tune, UUC shifter/bushings/weighted knob, rear cradle bushings, black powdercoated wheels and grilles, tinted headlights, fogs, tails, and reverse lights, full LED upgrade (inside and out).
Up next is a set of 2-piece front rotors and slotted rear rotors.

2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8. Redrock (beautiful color, especially in the sun) with a medium gray interior. B&B cat-back, BWoody CAI, MHP tune, Kicker/Mopar audio upgrade with single 10" sub, full LED upgrade, medium darkness tinted tails/3rd brake light/rear fogs, 20% tint all around (20% over factory tint in the rear, so it's really like 5-10%).
Up next is either a cowel hood with dual air inlets, or suede head liner (it sounds kinda tacky, but I think it looks really nice)
I still need to install my HID headlights and fogs...

2009 R1, white pearl with red. Not a whole lot of mods yet but I'll get there. So far I've installed my smoked windscreen, and swingarm spools (both where installed last night, so no pics). Plus I still have to install exhaust baffles, HID kit, no cut frame sliders, Greggs customs LED flushmounts, and LED mini rear signals that will go on a custom fender eliminator that I will make (Man I love having a machine shop at my disposal for stuff like that). This is not a mod, but I've got a bluetooth helmet on order. That thing is BADASS!!! Built in bluetooth so I can listen to my ipod, then when my phone rings; it will cut the music and answer my phone.
