Hi everyone. Just trying to get and idea of what some peoples monthly schedules are for washing their vehicles. I would also like to know what some of the detailers are doing as far as maintenance packages. I detail part time an am just curious.

Thanks

I try to wash my own truck about every two weeks if I can fit it into my schedule. I've been pretty busy lately, so it went about a month without a wash.

As far as maintenance packages for customers, if they come to me for a full detail I usually give them a discount for maintenance appointments. Basically the maintenance is just a basic wash and dry, vacuum out the interior and a quick wipe down.

I wash both personal cars every week. Engines usually get done every other month. Then they get waxed every 3 weeks.

I'll do my truck every week unless it's raining and a coat of wax on the paint and rims. I'm building up for winter otherwise I wouldn't wax but once a month.

My lovely S2K: I usually wash her every 7-10 days. During the non-winter months, I'll wax her every 4 weeks or so. During the winter months, all bets are off. I will give her ONR rinses as needed, temperature permitting. This winter she will be protected by two coats of Blackfire Wet Diamond. If I find a need a little extra gloss, I wouldn't be surprised if I were to apply a quick coat of Ultimate Quik Wax after a wash.

My wife's CR-V: I usually wash it every 2 weeks and will apply a coat of Ultima Paint Guard Plus every two months during the non-winter months. I could stretch out the intervals, but UPGP is just so easy to apply, it seems wrong not to re-apply it every other month. During the winter months, I will ONR the car or take it down to the local coin-op, as needed. This winter the CR-V will be protected by three coats of Finish Kare 1000p.
