where do you get them from?
bed bath ./ walmart
kmart /online ebay. there called dryer balls. and there blue. there awesome they make the microfibers so fluffy

Two work for me...saves you from having to add Bounce sheets or fabric softener and lessens static cling. They do a good job of fluffing up towels.

That is if my wife doesn't constantly lose them...

I've got four. I don't want to have four but had to get two more and you guys know why.
WHERE DO THEY GO????

your being sillyIm the MAN Im the MAN Im the MAN

Too many guys on here have blue balls, I think Scott has had the most blue balls so far....

I thought the fabric sheets were bad for MF towels? Do the BB do the same thing?

No, they are supposed to fluff the towels and allow the hot air to get in between the towels. This is supposed to make the dryer more efficient and the towels more fluffy than without. Some people swear by them, others think they are a scam.

On the topic, on other forum people that started with two said they noticed improvements by using as much as six.

I have the same question

no fabric sheets are designed to release a fabric softner into the mix also, touch them and the difference is immediately noted. The balls are simply to fluff the towels abit and reduce drying time.

Like a killr said, dryer sheets are working by releasing chemicals, which is bad for towels. Dryer balls work on "mechanical principle" (no chemicals on them, once you purchased them no need for repurchasing) by tumbling together with clothes (towels) fluffing them up in the process and contributing to quicker drying.
