So a guy local to me emailed me asking about my Opti-Coat Pro pricing. Normally I don't mind talking with and helping other local detailers to me but I like to check them out first. Within seconds of looking at his page I knew he was shady...

Most of the pictures are taken for this very forum as well as the AG store. The 50/50 images and word for word text are from Ivan Rajic's web page. What first set me off is that he lists CQuartz Finest as a service and apparently he doesn't know that CarPro does not allow their to be more than one installer in a certain area. Why can't people just do things the right way???

Wind O' Washin' - Excellent window and gutter cleaning!

Just left him a nice comment on his chat feature on his site. Its things like this that just make my stomach cringe, i mean is it really so hard to do a 50/50 on a car? That and his pricing is reallllyyyyy up there, considering he cant even bother to post his own work.

I'm going to email him and ask if I can use "his" 50/50 shots to post on my website because they look so good!

Hehehe wonder what that answer will be!

On a serious note sorry to see your work has been stolen Ivan. I hope it gets resolved for you. It's a shame people do this to those that put out great work and have worked hard.

Well, he is dishonest towards his fellow detailers (stealing their intelectual work) and towards his own clients (if he sells CQuartz Finest and doesn't even have access to it, what is he putting on the customers' paint? - Chad, I am sure you have done it already, but Corey should hear about this).

Not too long ago I found a local guy who completely copied the majority of my site (not pics though).

Some people have no morals.

Glad you were able to call him out on his wrong doing.

Wow +1

As I have been getting started in all this, I have used many of your pages for pricing research and style hints. I would never have even began to think, "Man Ill just rip a 50/50 of someones high end car" How is that for a reputation? I am glad you caught this guy and I hope he has no clients. My biggest fear in starting this is that Ill get called a "HACK" or any negitive adjective. I have corresponded with Todd (Pureshine) on many things including his web page and pricings. I will always ask a persons permission to use anything they have created. OK, I feel better saying that.:D

For anyone that reads this any insinuation by a detailer that they are using Finest should be crosschecked directly on CarPro's Finest Authorized map directly. There is no Finest installer in North America that is not listed on that map and there is only one store that handles Finest. It is not this one.

That guy posts on here or on one of the other forums we all read. I just remember reading a post by him, and checking out his info. I remember the "Cloud 9". I mean, this was just a few days ago - but I can't remember the screen name.

I can't believe he outright lies and says he uses Finest when he doesn't, unless he's getting it unauthorized.

I would also assume in order to use the Wolfgang banner with permission it would have to link to AG.

So that I do not make any unintended mistakes. How do I get permission from the products that I do use to put their logo's on my designs. I would love to say Proudly uses XXX, XXX, and XXX. Trying to get a design for buisness cards and a flyer together is harder than I thought!

Speaking of "Finest"...
Corey has already contacted him. ;)
