Most durable Collinite?

Always strange how different people get widely different results from the same products. Makes me wonder if there is manufacturing consistency issues or possibility for products to go bad without any easy way to tell.

bcwang, speaking about products going bad.. There's no telling how long products sit on shelves before we buy them.

At my local carquest they have DG and Meguiar's products that have been there forever. A few Meguiar's products have been there so long, that the labels are fading.

I just wonder how fresh our products are when we buy direct from a company? Does a company throw out their unsold products after a certain time?

Tesla, yeah I've read that 476s is more difficult to work with because of the higher concentration of natural and synthetic waxes. Always heard until your post that durability was very good.

I purchased some #915 after reading 4-5 positive review about it. We'll see how it goes. lol

I have 845 and really like it, it's a fantastic product, looks good, phenomenal longevity. I'm quite sure that several coats of 845 on top of several coats of Klasse SG are what saved my paint from completely degrading over the past couple years with little to no attention. But on the few occasions when I had time/motivation to at least give my car a wash, the dirt still slid right off. It wasn't even until the last few months that the beading really disappeared.

I'd like to try the 915, though. Does anyone know anything about how 915 compares to 845 in terms of durability?

Fwiw. Collinite says their 476s last the longest at (9-11) months, 845 (5-7) months and 915 (8-10) months.

In a wax test done on another site, 915 was still going strong after 6.5 months. 845 and 476s fell off a couple months earlier.
