Most durable wax

No one for Zaino?

Yes me as you can see in my signature, but it's not popular here and this is a closed forum so I don't like to name-drop products that AG doesn't sell.

Where do you live.....I'd guess up north, since you're concerned about "winter". :)

I think durability under these conditions is different than other locations & their winters.

BTW - even though Collonite 845 is made just ~100 +/- miles away, I haven't found it locally. Tried 4-5 of places that are supposed to have it to no avail. It's on order from AG now. It will be a very well traveled bottle of wax!

doesnt matter whether a wax or sealant is suggested. Winter is approaching and it needs to last from the start of October to March.

Car will be parked in a garage and driven daily. I just need something that lasts as I do not have time to tend to my personal vechiles.

Haha I was thinking, maybe after 10 layers ;)

But I'm interested in this Collinite Insulator stuff.
I've got some in my cart so next time I place an order I'll use it on my friends car seeing as it lives outside 24/7 and I don't think she's gonna be waxing it all that often (cleaning- good, I MADE her buy some good cleaning products the other day :props:)

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Collinite 476s. The manufacturer considers it to be the most durable wax they sell. Collinite says 476s will outlast 845 by a couple of months. If durability is the decisive concern, then this is the wax I would choose, though I have heard excellent things also about FK 1000p. Either product should get you through the winter.

I guess even though I read "wax" I (incorrectly) assumed "LSP".

In any event, I haven't used Zaino long enough to have an opinion on durability, but much of what I've read online suggests it is really the durability king for "LSPs".

Yes...yes...yes. 476 is rock solid. Apply it properly and it's not at all difficult to remove - and will hold up to any winter conditions I've ever seen. Won't provide the same glow as Souveran, but it's not meant to.

Not sure why this thread was resurrected from its 11 year old grave, but I agree with you 100% Scott.
