The step where I get to use my machines.....:D

Like most of you I like toys and the more toys the more fun......:props:

Yea really. way to go flash. I really thought that using iron x was a blast. From being able to visible see rust marks on the paint to it being gone was pretty sweet. I must say though, polishing a dark paint is pretty fantastic as well

After washing my car, I really enjoy using a spray wax because they're easy to use and amp up the shine and protection. That, and I love dressing my tires. It usually takes me about ten minutes to dress all four tires because I'm meticulous about making sure that it looks absolutely perfect.

Cool thread. :dblthumb2:

The final wipe is nice to see the paint glow but I like seeing a clean set of wheels with the perfect tire dressing, not to glossy not to matte.Wheels and tires that look like they just rolled out of the showroom. When doing cars for family/friends they always comment on the wheels first until you point out the difference in the paint or show photos from the camera of before/after.

When your laying on that coat of wax, and your pad is just gliding across the smooth polished surface it just feel right.

I like the washing stage the most. I especially enjoy doing wheels and tires.

I must be the odd one out, but I dont like waxing. After I have finished cleaning a car, the last thing I want to do is spend another 30-40 minutes applying wax and then buffing it off.

Mike, I thought the same thing...a 2006 thread!?!

My favourite is the compounding stage with M105 and wool or foam. You get the greatest turnaround at this stage and I find it the most rewarding.

First cut of polish and wiping away residue and finding that the swirls are gone and finish is looking great. It's like turning on the water with no leaks after replacing plumbing.

I like interiors either way. If I'm polishing a car out I'm usually exhausted and ready to go home after final polish that the wax/seal just sucks lol

I like to do glass when my steam cleaner is hot. I swear glass is crystal clear with steam!!
