Another addition to the Columbus Fluff n' Buff Scene.

This week involved a fully loaded 2022 Kia Stinger GT 2 in beautiful Ascot Green Metallic. The owner is a friend who picked this up new and wanted to add a little "pop!" to the paint work. It only has 3,500 miles on it and came with some very minor dealer installed swirls but to really amp up the gloss and protect the paint day-forward, we decided on a New Vehicle Polish & Protect with a dual layer Cquartz Ceramic Coating.

I think the results turned out great and now it looks as good as it performs. LOVE the German Influence carried over by the once German Car Designers. Also, the new Badging and window trim treatment really sets the car off well.

Polished with a Flex XCE and L.C. Orange Flat pads and Rupes Nano with yellow pads for those tight areas. Layer 1 is Cquartz UK 3.0 followed by Layer 2 CarPro SiC. Wheels done with GYEON Q2 RIM and Trim done with Cquartz Dlux.

Onto the pics!

Honestly, No. Genesis G70 maybe but not new. I'd buy a used one but for the money new I'd be back in a BMW.

Beautiful color. The car is very well designed except the placement of the side vent. Not a fan of it at all

Agree. Very well done interior. I'd like to see a two tone one perhaps with a light color headliner. Agree on the vents.

Overall a huge boat that drives big but really isn't. Its actually shorter than my Accord

I had a 19 accord 2.0t. Had to upsize to a passport with the second child but I miss the accord and may get back in one. In sport or touring trim it’s a heck of a deal and punches above its weight. Just wish it had awd.

Did I miss something, you detailed a Stinger and NOT a G90, right

Well it's functional so not sure where else they could've put it

Easily could have put higher up and ran it directional. Also it’s not the best looking vent and lastly although functional was it really needed in that car...

I agree. And it wouldn’t be nearly so bad if they didn’t decide to make it chrome to call attention to itself.

I think its more of a part of the air curtain to aid with air flow

Vent could be placed different and engineered for same results. And difference would be negligible on that horse power and brake combo in my opinion

I guess I'm not understanding the importance of hp and brakes here

I'm with you - not a fan of chrome for those vents. BMW did that on some of their cars too and (to me) it works to cheapen the look of the car.

It's smoked chrome
