For the past year or so I’ve been testing trim cleaner formulas for Mothers and was highly impressed with the very first version. I contacted Forrest and said this stuff is great; you really need to market it. So when the 2013 line came out and it wasn’t there I’m thinking what are they thinking!!!!! Fast forward a year later a few more test formulas and here it is new for spring 2014. The following pictures only show what it can do in removing wax residue but it can do much more. Any faded, dull, weathered trim can be cleaned up in a matter of minutes and I mean minutes with a detail brush and microfiber towel whether it be plastic, vinyl or rubber. As they say a picture is worth a thousand words, you be the judge!
I was able to clean all of this up in about 10 minutes total for both sides.

You may have already seen some of these from my Sea Doo post.

Looks good. So far I have liked all of the Mother's products that I have tried.

Wow.. looks promising! Did you use that brush on paint though? Doesn't look very safe on paint.

Looks like a great product. Am I missing something, is it only available in the spring or is it available now but I just can't find it? Thanks for the review.

Looks like a good product to prep before applying a dressing. Thanks for the review.

We start shipping it January 1. I'd bet AutoGeek will have it first in stock.

I think that's one of those things that really makes a car 'pop', having it's trim and such dressed. Looks great! Not greasy, just makes it all look brand new. Perfect!

So this is a cleaner/dressing all in one? Forrest, can you comment on expected durability?

They're great products, they don't get the air time they deserve. In many cases delivering the same quality product at a fraction of the cost of boutique brand prices.

Wow is right this stuff really works just like you saw in the pictures. Yes the brush is safe on paint. Mothers Detail Brush Set cleans crevices and creases inside your car. Mother Detail Brush Set includes 2 small brushes.

Thank you. Nope your not missing anything, I'm just a few months early.

That is exactly what its intended for. All of my after pics are with the cleaner only no dressing.

Thank you, I'll have to keep an eye out for it.

:props:

wow that actually looks pretty darn good!

Yep it sure does and takes very little effort or time.

If that product is cleaning like that, it's pretty amazing. Not saying by Mother's, but we've been duped before by trim products that just cover up stuff, but wash off. But if you have been testing it, I'm a believer.

No there's no cover up here. If you look at my Sea Doo post you will see that I cleaned the trim prior to washing it and the trim is still clean after its dry. This is a cleaner not a dressing or combination product. Its intended purpose is to prepare the trim for a dressing. Tell you what, I'm so confident in this product if you buy it and it doesn't perform as I've presented I'll give you your money back! No worries here;)

Yes finally a dedicated trim cleaner that won't break the bank. I tried mothers foaming all wheel and tire cleaner awhile ago on the recommendation of cleaning tires. I thought it can be easily picked up and the price is too good to worry about if the results aren't that great. Well the results were great for cleaning my tires so I'm not one bit hesitant to try this product. Just like tires, trim needs to be properly cleaned for trim products to really cling on to the surface

It's just a cleaner. It's not a dressing. Depending on the trim type (steps, running boards, bed rails, etc) you may choose to not even use a dressing.

Looks like a winner for mothers. I'll be picking it up when available.

Looks like another great product from Mothers. I've had the same experience with Mothers Back to Black Tire Renew--spray it on (very easy to control the spray so it doesn't get on your wheels) give it a light brushing and wipe it off. Found my tire dressing lasting allot longer since it's so easy to clean the tire before application.

Mothers Back to Black Tire Renew, tire cleaner

Incredible results can't wait to pickup this product
