Hey fellow detailers. I trust all is well. I wanted to check in and see if any of you had any good ideas on mounting my generator. I am not so concerned with theft "famous last words" as I am just making sure it doesn't move around. I picked up a 3000 watt powermate from home depot and im pretty happy with it so far. It did not start right away so I went ahead and turned it to the on position and that made a big difference. It's not nearly as loud as I feared so I am pleased with that. I need to mount this bad boy! U bolts seems to be the most obvious method but before I went and shelled out $7.84 a piece, I figured I would check in with some experienced peeps like you. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I will be more than happy to share my knowledge in the future, just need to get some first...Thank You. Feel free to post pics or links or anything that may be helpful. Cheers!

My suggestion is to find some rubber to allow for less virbration, use threaded rod and angle iron to drill two holes for the threaded rod. I would install the ruber under the generator. Quites and virbration free. This is just a idea, not in stone.
