hi my name is mike and i just added on headlight restoration to my package of detailing. its going pretty well right now. just got my 3m kit on the 23rd and ive gotten pretty good results from my church and the local attorneys around town. im here to learn new tips and tricks as well as share any that i may come across. im in south louisiana (acadiana) and they have plenty of headlights to go around. right now im in the process of educating the locals on why its important that they have clear headlights. well enough for now. as you can see i talk alot. later guys.

Is it true that I can just use M105 and M205 on my headlight lenses? Ive seen it done before and it worked out just fine. Finish off sealing it with some Klasse, of course.

sure. if they have no deep pits or scratches, a light buffing and polishing will do the trick.

I've done some headlights using 105/205 with darn good results. But yeah like you said, if I looked close I could tell a wetsand would have resulted in perfection.
I am on the fence on whether I should stock up on some 2000/3000 paper. Stuff is a little pricey. at least the auto brand ones.
