Hey everybody!

Things have been crazy busy (starting the business, 2 lab pups, vacation, etc.) Anyway, a few weeks ago I ordered some new toys. I tested them out last weekend on our Mazda3.

UDM
Having used the PC and the Cyclo, I was really looking forward to testing this new machine. Visually, I noticed the machine was a little larger overall than the PC. Once I turned it on, there was no doubt that it was more powerful. The rotating action of the head was much more intense than the PC. The on/off switch didn't seem to be that big of a deal until the 2nd time I used it I accidentally turned the machine on after applying product to a pad that was then slung all over me and the other vehicle I was working on. While working with the machine, it seemed evident that with the extra power came extra weight. I'm not sure what the weight specs are between the UDM and the PC, but the UDM definitely seemed heavier. Also, because I have smaller hands, the UDM wasn't as comfortable to use as the PC. I guess this is the trade-off for having more power. Overall, I'm happy with the UDM. It's not perfect, but for the power it puts out, I'll live :) It will definitely replace my PC for doing any paint correction.

XMT360 / LC CCS White Polishing Pad
I've used 360 a handful of times already but my buddy gave me a low-profile LC CCS white polishing pad the other day that he received in one of his orders. Since I keep the Mazda in good condition (little to no swirls or scratches), I didn't need anything more than a polishing pad. What can I say about 360 that hasn't already been said? This stuff is great! I ordered two more bottles just the other day. It's the prefect 1-step if you are pressed for time, etc. The pad worked great and like the description says, it does hold product in the pockets. I could see myself definitely purchasing a set of LC CCS pads.

XMT180 / LC CCS Red LSP Hand Applicator
This stuff smells great and made the paint look incredible! I also really like the new red foam applicators. I ordered 12 of them so it was either like them or be out the money I paid for all 12 of them..hehe! I applied 180 to the entire care before removing it with a lambswool leveling pad wrapped in a Cobra MF bonnet. Next time I use 180 I'll try applying to 2 panels, buffing the 1st, applying to the 3rd, buffing the 2nd, and so on. That is how I use Natty's Blue and it seems to work pretty good.

Other than that, there's nothing else to really highlight that I haven't talked about before in other "Show 'n Shine" threads.

In the pictures, the tires & trim aren't dressed and windows haven't been cleaned yet. I ran out of time. Sorry!

I'm in the process of organizing all of my products and taking an inventory of what I have.

Nice Ride Mike. Car looks great. Thanks for sharing and the Wright Up.

Thanks guys!

Hopefully, this weekend I get around to detailing my new Tacoma (seen in a few of the shots). I've got a brand new jar of Souveran paste ready to go, along with a few other new products.

Looks awesome, great reflection shots.

Hmmm, I didn't know Mazda's had flakey paint. Looks really nice.

Sweet 3 you have there! Great shine and wetness:applause: , need to post the pic's on the mazda forums and show off your ride wetness.:cheers:

Great wetness, I have used PB PwS and have the 360 on the shelf with the green CCS pad ready to go (the test car does have some light spider webbing). This thread has inspired me to get it out this weekend!!

Your Mazda looks very nice. Thanks for taking the time to write it up for us. I was laughing about the switch on the UDM, I've done that too many times already; splatter everywhere. OK I want to see pics of the Tacoma and the puppies. Puppies first, I'm a softy for pups! You're going to love the Tacoma they rock.

Thanks Al! Yeah, ya know I thought everyone was blowing the switch thing out of proportion at first. Then after covering myself and the panel of the car in wax, I realized people were right...hehe.

The Taco pics will hopefully come next week. Looking at your avatar, it looks like you have a TRD O.R. What year is it? How have you liked it? I love mine so far. I can't wait to show it off after I've given it a proper detail and slapped on some Souveran paste.

Ok, here are some of the dogs. We got them from a rescue. They were found out in the country down in southern Indiana, around Evansville. We were only looking for 1 black female but when we saw that she had a sibling, we decided to take both. We didn't want to seperate them if they were found together. Plus, we weren't sure what would happen to him if we didn't take him. They were probably about 8 weeks old when we got them (about 5 months old now we suspect). While they've been a handful, we wouldn't give them up for the world. They have provided many laughs! They love meeting people and other dogs. They even are doing pretty good with our 2 Netherland Dwarf rabbits.

Bella = Black female
Bear = Yellow male

The first few are from the first week that we got them:
